Injection To Eliminate Spider Veins

01

Spider Veins?

Spider veins are small and very fine red or blue veins. They are closer to the surface of the skin than varicose veins. They can look like a thin red line, tree branches or spider webs. Spider veins can be found on legs and face and may cover a small or large area.

How It Works

During this procedure, a tiny needle is used to introduce an FDA-approved sclerosant into the vein, drops at a time. This gentle, yet effective and FDA approved medication causes the vein to collapse and close. Over time, the closed vein gets absorbed by the body and disappears. The vein specialists initiate the process and the body does the rest, naturally.

How Many Treatments?

After sclerotherapy, treated veins tend to fade within a few weeks, although occasionally it may take a month or more to see the full results.  In most instances, several sclerotherapy treatments may be needed.

Treatments are usually 30-minutes in length and you may require 3 treatments per area.

04

Does It Hurt?

There is minimal discomfort involved, and most treatments are characterized as being virtually painless.
