What areas can I have treated?
Common areas you can treat with Lumecca™ are usually areas exposed to sunlight. It often includes the face, neck, décolletté, legs, hands and arms. Treatment can be repeated each 3 to 4 weeks.
What are the benefits?
In just 1-3 sessions, Lumecca improves the appearance of:
• Age spots (red/brown pigmentations)
• Sun damage
• Vascular lesions (spider veins, port-wine stains, leg telangiectasia)
• Rosacea (redness)

How Do I Prep?
Avoid direct, excessive sun exposure or tanning one month prior to treatment. Stop all Retin-A, retinol, glycolics, bleaching creams and exfoliants three days prior to treatment.
What can I expect?
During the treatment, there will be a bright flash of light that feels like a light elastic sensation. Redness and a slight warming of the skin are normal. Over the course of the next 24 to 48 hours after treatment, you may see a darkening of pigmented spots.
How many sesions are required?
An improved skin appearance can be noted after the first session. Multiple sessions provide even better results. The treatment regime depends on the severity of skin damage, skin type, type of treatment.
Are there side effects?
Most patients do not experience any side effects and any skin reaction usually resolves within a few hours. It is recommended to avoid direct sunlight and tanning.
